Red Deer & District Community Foundation suspends grant program due to COVID-19 pandemic

Mar 16, 2020 | 2:35 PM

Dearest Friends, Colleagues and Donors:

It is important to us that you know we are diligently working to navigate the present situation. The health and well-being of all those we share our community with is our very biggest priority at this time. That being said, our staff will be working from their homes effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

Our office location will be closed to the public, however, we will be available via phone and email Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.

The Board of Directors for the Red Deer & District Community Foundation has also made the decision to suspend the Smart & Caring Communities Spring Grant program.

While this may be disappointing news, it is important to remember the spirit of the Smart and Caring Communities Grant is to provide financial support to create strength and sustainability across all charitable sectors in Central Alberta. We will be closely monitoring how to effectively address local needs as they develop. Communications regarding how we move forward with funding these needs will be provided as plans become firm.

Please feel free to contact us at info@rddcf.ca at any time.

We will be in touch,

Erin Peden
Executive Director
