“Evening of Decadent Dessert” tickets on sale now

RED DEER- Evening of Decadent Dessert will be held on Friday, May 8, at the Parkland Pavilion in Westerner Park.

The event is Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre’s signature event and this year’s goal is to raise $125,000.

Executive Director, Michelle Sluchinski says, “This year is shaping up to be exciting, and we look forward to seeing you at the event. We invite you to get involved by purchasing your tickets early, donating silent auction items, live auction items, or desserts, as well as supporting Aspire through those larger scale sponsorships – join us on “A Journey of Hope.”

Sluchinski also states, “The funds raised from Evening of Decadent Dessert are essential to support our programs and specialized equipment purchases, as well as fee assistance for families who are struggling to afford their Aspire fees.”

Over 500 guests attend Evening of Decadent Dessert each year. At the event they enjoy a champagne reception, various raffles, entertainment, silent auction, dinner buffet, the famous decadent dessert buffet, and the highlight of the night – live auctions featuring one-of-a-kind cakes paired with unique experiences.

Also part of the evening is the final draw for the Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre’s annual Children’s Raffle.

This year’s grand prize is a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, valued at $41,590. The second prize is a gorgeous white gold diamond ring, valued at $7,500. The third prize is $2,500 cash.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets are available now for $100 per person or $750 for a table of eight. Charitable tax receipts will be issued for a portion of the ticket price.
