Young Thorsby woman killed in crash on Highway 60

A young woman from Thorsby died on Sunday following a collision south of Devon.

The 18-year-old was driving on Highway 60 when her truck collided with a tractor-trailer. Leduc RCMP said they responded to the collision around 4:20 pm on Sunday.

The woman, and lone occupant of the truck, died at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.

Police said road conditions were icy at the time of the crash.
