REBELS: Sedoff, King in NHL Central Scouting’s midterm draft rankings

Two members of the Red Deer Rebels are included in NHL Central Scouting’s midterm rankings for the 2020 NHL Draft.

Defenceman Christoffer Sedoff is ranked 50^th among North American skaters.

The 6-foot-3, 193-pound native of Finland is in his first year in the Western Hockey League. He was selected by the Rebels in the 2019 CHL Import Draft.

In 41 games with the Rebels, the 17-year-old has collected three goals, 12 assists and 30 penalty minutes.

Sedoff will play in the 2020 Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game this Thursday in Hamilton.

Rebels forward Ben King is ranked 151^st among North American skaters.

Acquired in November from the Swift Current Broncos, King has 14 points in 24 games with the Rebels, including four goals and 10 assists.

The 6-foot-2, 194-pound forward from Vernon, B.C. was drafted 13^th overall by Swift Current in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.
