Notley challenges Kenney to debate health care cuts

EDMONTON- NDP Leader Rachel Notley has challenged Premier Jason Kenney to a live televised debate over planned job cuts in the health care sector.
Notley says she has issued the challenge because the United Conservative government shot down an NDP attempt to hold an emergency debate in the legislature.
She says the premier has to be held accountable for what she says is an attack on health care.
Notley says the province plans to cut hundreds of nurse positions and contract out some jobs to private providers.
