Accident at landfill kills 5-year-old boy

LAC LA BICHE- RCMP say a five-year-old boy has died after he was hit by a truck that his father was driving near Lac La Biche.
Mounties say the incident happened Saturday afternoon while the father and son were unloading a truck at the Plamondon Landfill.
They say that after they finished unloading, the truck hit the boy.
Paramedics were called in, but the child died at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation, and no charges have been laid.
