Drayton Valley RCMP Report: Sept. 26-Oct. 3

September 26

8:34 am – Drayton Valley – Ramada Inn – Complainant reporting attempted theft of quad overnight. Straps were cut, did not manage to get the quad out of the box of the truck. There is a possible suspect vehicle associated.

4:39 pm – Drayton Valley – Carlton East – Members attended a third party call regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival known male and female were intoxicated and arguing. Members separated parties for the night.

5:48 pm – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Complainant reporting a dispute. Members attended parties separated for the night.

9:13 am – Brazeau County – Poplar ridge Trailer Court – Complainant reporting known male is outside at residence and won’t leave. Joseph Bourque,48, arrested for breach of conditions. Held for bail hearing and released.

9:57 am – Drayton valley – 54 Avenue – Complainant reporting theft of red 2005 Ducati 749 motorcycle.

11:43 am – Brazeau County – RR 81 – Complainant reporting break and enter to rural mail box. Canada Post advised.

12:00 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – Member on patrol attended residence and observed male who was breaching house arrest conditions. Seth Johnson, 19, later arrested and charged for breach of conditions and possession of stolen property as he was observed driving a black Ford F350.

2:24 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting theft of 2 solar panels, 3 batteries and cable had been stolen from site.

3:31 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Member on patrol observed a suspicious truck parked at the Library. Queries indicated vehicle had been stolen from Rocky Mountain House. Male attended to vehicle and was subsequently arrested for possession of stolen property.

6:50 pm – Brazeau County – Suspicious male on property. Male wearing a yellow jacket and toque was seen running away on property after ramming gate. Members attended and located 19- year-old Seth Johnson. Johnson held for bail hearing.

8:32 pm – Brazeau County – Powerhouse Road – Complainant reporting a break and enter to shop. Theft of copper wire. Entry made through side door. Member attended.

September 28

12:01 am 9:30 am – Brazeau County – RR 81 – Fire advised of a residential fire for information purposes. Started in the fireplace.

12:25 pm – Lodgepole area – Complainant reporting batteries and cables stolen from oil site.

September 29

6:32 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Avenue – Complainant reporting theft of propane bottles overnight. Lock was cut off of propane tank.

6:58 am – Drayton Valley – Regal Wine and Spirits – Complainant reporting alarms at Regal Wine and Spirits. Member attended, building cleared, several bottles of liquor taken. Entry made by breaking open glass on front door.

3:06 pm – Drayton Valley – Greenwood Trailer Court – Complainant reporting an assault on a youth. An argument broke out and youth was slapped and kicked. Member attended and obtained statements. Charges pending.

September 30

5:11 am – Drayton valley – Tri-Electric – Complainant reporting a break and enter to electrical shop at 5:00 am. Female was located hiding in alley and provided name as well as that of her accomplice. Miscellaneous tools taken. Members are investigating further.

6:12 am – Drayton Valley – Lakeview Inn – Complainant reporting theft of their 2004 maroon Chevrolet Silverado.

2:23 pm – Brazeau County – RR 101A – Report of a logging truck’s rear trailer has tipped over on Hwy 620. No injuries. Member attended and assisted with traffic control while trailer was put back on its wheels and load replaced.

October 1

5:32 pm – Drayton Valley – Greenwood Trailer Court – Complainant reporting an assault by son. Son hits her and throws stuff at her. Wants son removed from residence.

7:06 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting theft of plate off their vehicle while parked behind the Civic Center.

October 2

12:02 am – Drayton Valley – RR 70 – Fire requesting assistance at structure fire in detached garage. Member attended and statement taken.

12:37 am – Drayton Valley – Greenwood Trailer court – Complainant reporting their ex is outside yelling and screaming. Member attended and located male who was arrested for obstruction for providing a false name. In addition, male charged with uttering threats. Male held for a hearing.

8:05 am – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – Complainant reporting theft of their green 1999 Ford F250 overnight.

1:07 pm – Drayton Valley – Ramada Inn – Complainant reporting theft of tools from tool box. One Dewalt drill stolen.

October 3

1:30 am – Drayton Valley – Industrial Road – Complainant reporting a break and enter in progress. Members attended, description provided, member located known male at Econorest who was subsequently arrested and held for a hearing.
