The Red Deer Rebels made a trade prior to their game on Tuesday versus the Saskatoon Blades.
The Rebels acquired 17-year-old forward Cohner Saleski from the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for a sixth round selection in the 2020 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft and a 4th round pick in 2021.
Saleski (HT: 5’9” WT: 170lbs) was a first round pick (17th overall) of the Raiders in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft, he went 17th overall.
The Saskatoon, SK native has played in five WHL games and has one assist. He played for Team Saskatchewan at the WHL Cup in 2018 and had three assists in five games.
