Body of missing hiker recovered

Rocky Mountain House RCMP say the body of a hiker who went missing earlier this month has been located.

Jeffrey Newton, 48, went missing on Sept. 5 after heading out for a hike near Lake Abraham in Clearwater County.

Mounties say his body was located on Sept. 21 on Abraham Mountain west of Nordegg.
