Local golfers competing in national tournaments

A pair of central Alberta golfers are competing in some high profile tournaments this week.

Lynn Kuehn of the Lacombe Golf and Country Club competed at the Canadian Women’s Mid-Amateur and Senior Championship in Osoyoos, B.C. from Aug. 18-20.

Kuehn finished tied for 35^th at +28 after shooting an 83 in Round 1 on Sunday, 79 in Round 2 Monday and 85 in Round 3 on Tuesday for a total of 247.

Elsewhere, Garrett Scott of the Red Deer Golf and Country Club is competing at the Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship in Richmond Hill, ON from Aug. 20-23.
