Nazi symbol spray painted on grass near Edmonton mall

EDMONTON- Police are investigating after residents of an Edmonton neighbourhood found a Nazi image spray painted on some grass.

Shirley Smith told CTV Edmonton that she was appalled when she saw the white swastika near Northgate Centre.

Smith says it’s horrible and terrible.

A spokesman for the Edmonton Police Service says it could be considered a hate crime, but they are still in the early stages of the investigation.
