Woman found dead in Edmonton area home deemed a homicide

STONY PLAIN- RCMP say they are investigating a homicide of a woman whose body was found in a home west of Edmonton.

Mounties say they responded to a call from someone who found the bodies of a 56-year-old man and 44-year-old woman at a home in Parkland County on Tuesday afternoon.

An autopsy was conducted Wednesday and the woman’s death has been deemed a homicide.

Police say the two people were in a domestic relationship.

They say no charges will be laid and no suspects are being sought.
