‘Battle of the Blades’ to return to CBC in the fall

TORONTO — Stars of the hockey and figure-skating worlds are set to lace up once again for a revival of “Battle of the Blades.”

Producers say a new season of the CBC competition series, in which hockey players and figure skaters pair up to perform on-ice dance routines for an audience and judges, will debut in the fall.

The CBC says season 5 will see participants once again competing for a charity of their choice.
