CARSTAR Red Deer Locations Exceed $25,000 in Holiday Fundraising

CARSTAR Red Deer and CARSTAR Red Deer South have been spreading holiday cheer to the Red Deer Christmas Bureau and Red Deer Food Bank since 2004, and this year surpassed the $25,000 threshold of fundraising with their annual donation.
CARSTAR Red Deer and CARSTAR Red Deer South are no strangers to giving back. Consecutively raising the most amount of money during Shine Month, CARSTAR’s trademark fundraising month for Cystic Fibrosis Canada and hosting their local Walk for Cystic Fibrosis Canada, the team at CARSTAR are as generous as it gets.
“The only reason we can be in the position to make donations like this or to Cystic Fibrosis Canada are because of all the hard work our employees put in every day, at both locations,” says Darryl Hemstreet. “Supporting causes like the Red Deer Christmas Bureau and the Red Deer Food Bank are important to us because it helps us spread the joy during this cheery season and ensures it’s a happy holiday for everyone in the Red Deer community.”
The Red Deer Christmas Bureau and Red Deer Food Bank both work to help those in the Red Deer and surrounding area during times of need. The vision of the Red Deer Christmas Bureau is to ensure that every child receives a toy on Christmas morning and to help all those in need enjoy a hearty meal on Christmas day. The Red Deer Food Bank, established in 1984, provides emergency food requirements for those in need for Red Deer and the surrounding area.
