Working Well Workshop coming to Bowden

Nov 1, 2018 | 10:37 AM

Red Deer County is pleased to announce that the Working Well Workshop will be coming to the Bowden Community Hall on November 22 at 5:30 p.m. This hands-on, informative workshop is designed to help well owners better understand and manage their water supply.

The workshop will discuss proper water well siting, construction, maintenance and plugging. These topics can help protect wells from bio-fouling and contamination, saving on repairs, and ensuring well water yields are sustained.

The workshop is hosted by Red Deer County, and presented by the Working Well Program, with technical expertise from Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, Alberta Environment and Parks, Alberta Health Services and licensed water well drillers.

Those interested in attending are asked to pre-register by calling Red Deer County’s Agriculture Services at 403-342-8654 or emailing agriculture@rdcounty.ca. Pre-registration can also be done online at https://workingwell2018.eventbrite.ca. A light dinner will be provided for all those in attendance.
