Renewable Energy Fair and Workshops at RDC

In support of Red Deer College’s Alternative Energy Initiative, RDC and ReThink Red Deer are thrilled to present the Renewable Energy Fair + Workshops on Saturday, October 20. Community members, industry and students will learn about an array of renewable and alternative energy opportunities.

A keynote address, expert panel discussions, workshops, guided tours of RDC’s Centre for Innovation in Manufacturing and the newly opened Alternative Energy Lab, interactive demonstrations, as well as a green marketplace featuring local green-minded businesses and organizations, will all provide attendees valuable learning experiences.

Keynote speaker David Dodge has researched climate change, energy, and renewable energy topics, and has created over 150 documentaries as a producer with Green Energy Futures. He is the Chair of Energy Efficiency Alberta and Co-Chair of the Energy Transition Committee for the City of Edmonton.

The fair and tours are open to the public. Workshop tickets are $5 each at the door. All proceeds will go to projects and programs of ReThink Red Deer.
