UCP to hold Nomination Contestants forum in Lacombe-Ponoka

The UCP Constituency Association is gearing up to host a series of candidate nomination events in the Lacombe-Ponoka riding next month.

The events include an All Nomination Contestants Forum in Lacombe September 13 and UCP member voting days in Lacombe September 20 and Ponoka September 21.

Constituency Association officials say the Nomination Contestants Forum will help party members decide who will represent the UCP in the Lacombe-Ponoka riding in next year’s provincial election.

Currently, there are three nomination contestants including incumbent UCP MLA Ron Orr, Lacombe City Councillor Thalia Hibbs and Businesswoman / Farmer Rita Reich.
