QE2/Gaetz Avenue Interchange update: Nighttime Taylor Drive closures

RED DEER- A night closure of Taylor Drive will be in effect from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. on both Tuesday, June 26 and Wednesday, June 27.

These closures will involve detours for traffic headed both northbound and southbound on Taylor Drive, and are required to accommodate girder erection for the new southbound QE2 bridge.

As of June 11, the north end of Gasoline Alley East (north of Poplar Street) and the western-most portion of Spruce Street will be closed for 30 days, weather dependent.

Traffic heading north on Gasoline Alley East will be detoured east on Poplar Street, north on Petrolia Drive, then briefly west on Spruce Street to 49 Avenue.
