Town of Sylvan Lake wants residents to help shape Waterfront redevelopment

The Town of Sylvan Lake wants to hear from residents as they look at ideas for redeveloping the Waterfront area.

“Reimagine Sylvan” is the Town’s process of reviewing, reimagining and redeveloping Sylvan Lake’s waterfront. Town officials say community involvement is vital in helping shape this future.

As such, the Town is hosting three open houses this week at the Nexsource Centre. The first takes place Thursday night from 6-9 p.m. with community members invited to hear about the project, provide thoughts on the vision and share “five big ideas” for the project.

That input will be used at the second open house Friday from 7-9 p.m. to present future development concepts for feedback and input on how to improve them.
