Strategic plan to fill gaps for County residents

Mar 27, 2018 | 4:52 PM

Red Deer County residents stand to benefit from a new Community Services Strategic Plan approved by council on Tuesday.

The five-year plan aims to fill in the service gaps and apply additional resources to programming, services and facilities.

In a release, the County says it has assisted various volunteer-based organizations, such as rec. and culture boards, community halls and heritage groups, but others have missed out.

The strategic plan has taken shape based off findings from the County’s 2017 Needs Assessment Study.
