Lynx love is “not” in the air

GRANDE PRAIRIE- A catfight caught on tape has many people watching and listening in amazement.

Amos Wiebe, the man behind the camera, was driving down a logging road last week near Grande Prairie when he had one of the most epic experiences of his life.

Wiebe says he noticed some movement about 80 to 100 feet up in the treetops.

It turned out to be a pair of lynx that appeared to be fighting.

He says it sounded like they were screaming at each other.

According to Wiebe, the male chased the female up a tree and she started swatting at him.

The male left but returned shortly after and up the tree he goes again, but the female still wasn’t having any of it and once again gave him the boot.

The entire ordeal was caught on video.

It is posted on Facebook and had been shared more than 10,000 times by Monday afternoon.
