RED DEER - The Brandon Wheat Kings ended the Red Deer Rebels playoff run about a month ago.

Wednesday night, the Rebels ended the Wheat Kings season in nail-biting fashion.

RED DEER - You can make is "Sweet 16" for the London Knights.

Mitchell Marner racked up four more assists in leading the Knights to a 5-2 win over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies at the 2016 Mastercard Memorial Cup in Red Deer on Tuesday.

London advances to Sunday's championship game.

RED DEER - The high-octane London Knights came fueled to play Monday night.

They shredded the WHL Champion Brandon Wheat Kings 9-1 to improve to 2-0 at the 2016 Mastercard Memorial Cup in Red Deer. The Wheat Kings fell to 0-2.

RED DEER - After a tough, tournament-opening loss to London on Friday, the hometown crowd at the Enmax Centrium hoped for better for their Red Deer Rebels against the Quebec champion Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.

RED DEER - The first duel between two league champions at the 2016 Mastercard Memorial Cup took to the ice Saturday between the Brandon Wheat Kings and Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.

The Huskies built up a 5-1 lead then held on to win by a final score of 5-3.

RED DEER - The high-flying London Knights skated their way to a 6-2 win over the host Red Deer Rebels in the opening game of the 2016 Mastercard Memorial Cup.
