Nominations being accepted for Sylvan Lake’s Volunteer Awards

We’re again celebrating our dedicated volunteers. Nominations for our 2018 Volunteer Awards are now open. Sylvan Lakers are asked to nominate a deserving local volunteer, share how they have impacted our community, and recognize their positive contributions. 

Volunteer award categories include:

• The Mayor’s Award for Distinguished Volunteer Service; 
• Town Council’s Award for Volunteer of the Year;
• The Healthy Communities Initiative Cup (group);
• Community Mentorship Award; and
• Community Champion.

Award category details, are available online, and the deadline for nominations is March 23rd.

Join us on April 21st for live entertainment, dinner, and the announcement of our Volunteer Award winners.
