Spray park and Rec Centre outdoor pool opening

Get ready to make a splash when both the Blue Grass Sod Farms Central Spray Park and the Recreation Centre outdoor pool open for the season, on Thursday, June 1, weather permitting.

The Blue Grass Sod Farms Central Spray Park, is located at the northwest corner of Rotary Recreation Park (47A Avenue and 48 Street). It includes a 7,500 square foot spray pad with 35 spray toys and two dump buckets, and operates daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Recreation Centre’s outdoor pool is located behind the Recreation Centre (4501 – 47A Avenue). It features a 50 metre pool for public swimming and lane swimming, one and three metre diving boards and a children’s wading pool with spray features. There are also deck chairs for lounging around the pool.
