Broadway Avenue and Hwy 2A junction opens in Blackfalds

A major road closure in Blackfalds is now over.

As of today, Broadway Avenue and Highway 2A is open to traffic.

However, due to recent changes in the weather, asphalt and Tutty Park pathway upgrades will have to wait until Spring.

Motorists are advised to note there is a new alignment to access Hwy 2A and to always obey construction signage and posted speed limits.

Construction is ongoing as traffic signals and streetlights are still being installed.
