Record numbers for this weekend’s Women’s Fun Run

A record number of participants will take part in this year’s Red Deer Primary Care Network Women’s Fun Run.

The event, which takes places on Saturday, is raising funds for the Mustard Seed school lunch program.

To register, women can head to the Red Deer PCN offices (5120 47 Street) between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday or one can register at Lindsay Thurber until 8 a.m. on the morning of.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Thurber track and McKenzie Trails, there are eight different events happening including 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km races. New this year is the 1 km Mom and Son Run, as well as an event for teens.
