Drayton Valley, Brazeau County receive asset management funding
The Town of Drayton Valley and Brazeau County are among 25 Alberta communities that are receiving federal funding to help boost asset management.
The Government of Canada is investing $1.15 million into 25 new projects across Alberta through the Municipal Asset Management Program.
The funds are delivered by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities on behalf of the federal government.
The program aims to strengthen local infrastructure planning and decision-making by increasing local asset management capacity through investments in activities like asset management training, technology and software enhancements, and information sharing.
