Bentley Canucks among local hockey teams celebrating provincial championships

Congratulations going out to a number of central Alberta hockey teams celebrating appearances in provincial championship finals this weekend, with some of them coming out on top!

In the Bantam A Division, the Springbank Rockies shutout the Innisfail Fourlane Flyers 3-0.

In Pee Wee Female B, the Olds Grizzlys edged the Medicine Hat Wildcats 2-1.

In Atom A, Drayton Valley defeated the Innisfail DQ Flyers 9-3.

In Atom B, Didsbury downed Stettler 7-3.

In Atom D, the Bentley Canucks were victorious over the Mallaig Monarchs 10-8.

Provincial championships set for March 22-25 include: Senior AA (Bonnyville), Minor Midget AAA (Lethbridge), Midget A (Sherwood Park), Midget B (Wetaskiwin), Midget C (Rimbey), Midget D (Taber), Midget Female AAA (Red Deer), Midget Female A (Strathcona), Midget Female B (Lac La Biche), Bantam Female Elite (Grande Prairie), Peewee A (Edmonton), Peewee B (La Crete), Peewee C (Thunderstars), Peewee D (Oyen), and Peewee Female A (Okotoks).
