Red Deer Public Schools launching public engagement process

We all want the very best for our children’s future, but how do we make that happen?

Red Deer Public Schools will launch an engagement process that will seek input from stakeholders across the community on how to ensure every child has opportunities to be successful in learning, work and life.

“The School Board’s role is to ensure the best possible education for students and shaping the future of our community. The Board works diligently and faithfully in the cause of public education and in ensuring each student in Red Deer Public Schools sees success,” said Bev Manning, Board Chair. “We want to know what are your hopes for students to be successful in learning, work, and life? And what opportunities should students have in our schools to be successful in life?”

“Our community’s input will help guide the district and our schools on the future we all want for our students,” added Manning. “This is valuable and important work. We want to know how our community feels and we as a Board will work to address that.”
