Learn about a new trail in Riverside Meadows

RED DEER- This Saturday, May 12, residents are invited to learn more about a new trail being constructed in Riverside Meadows.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. City staff will be at the Riverside Meadows Community Centre (6021 57 Avenue) to talk about the project and to collect public feedback on how the trail will weave through the green space.

Weather permitting, at 1 p.m. residents can join City staff on a site walk of the proposed trail route.

The trail will begin at 60 Street and Riverview Avenue, continue towards the Riverside Meadows Community Centre and then northwest to meet up with an existing trail. 

A second section of trail will begin at the western end of the existing trail near Howarth Street Close and travel southwest to 60 Street.
