Red Deer tops 2018 Read for 15 challenge

Red Deer once again hit it out of the park for the 2018 edition of the #Readfor15 challenge.
Readers were encouraged to tag their social media posts with a town-specific version of the #Readfor15 hashtag on January 26 and 27. The posts would have shown them reading.
Over those two days, 15,803 Red Deerians said they were reading, the highest overall total in all of the participating communities. This means Red Deer Public Library gets to hang on to the Readerpalooza Trophy.
Cardston won Most Readerly Community with 39 per cent participation.
