Blindman River restoration public information session

Mar 25, 2019 | 2:59 PM

Central Albertans concerned about the health and ecology of the Blindman River are encouraged to attend a public information session next week, regarding an area restoration project that’s currently underway.

Officials with the Agroforestry and Woodlot Extension Society (AWES) say the Blindman River Restoration Project aims to improve the water quality and habitat on each side of the Blindman River and help restore the overall health of the surrounding Red Deer River watershed.

The session will take place Mar. 27 at the Forshee Hall, about 12 km’s north of Bentley and run from approximately 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
