Red Deer playwright releases sequel in young adult book series

A Red Deer playwright and author is marking the release of the second book in his ongoing young adult series.

Ten Silver Coins: The Battle of Acchora was released Nov. 29, and is now available in print through Amazon and as an e-book wherever they’re sold.

“We live in very unique times and I believe that more than ever we need courage in our world,” says Kooman. “The Battle for Acchora is about one young girl’s need to have courage and how she finds a way to be brave and to thrive despite adversity.”

Kooman adds the book series is one children of all ages will enjoy, especially ones seeing thrills, adventure and uplifting content.

The former RDC student and Western University graduate wrote the sequel to Ten Silver Coins: The Drylings of Acchora after diverting his attention to his first feature film She Has A Name, which has garnered acclaim and awards worldwide.
