Stettler RCMP investigating attempted counterfeit cash incident

Stettler RCMP are reminding area merchants to stay vigilant in spotting counterfeit currency this holiday season.
This after a male attended a Stettler restaurant on November 26 and tried to use a counterfeit $100 bill to pay for his order.
Fortunately, Mounties says the business did not accept the bill and the male left without further incident.
Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime, are encouraged to call Stettler RCMP or Crimestoppers at 188-222-8477 (TIPS).
