Red Deerians invited to participate in City Manager recruitment survey

Red Deerians are encouraged to participate in finding the next City Manager by taking part in a recruitment consultation survey.
“On behalf of the City Manager recruitment team, I encourage all residents of Red Deer to participate in consultations that will help define the characteristics, attributes, and skills the next City Manager should possess,” says Mayor Tara Veer, in a press release. “Collaboration with our community members will allow us to ensure Red Deerians are involved in this decision. We look forward to your input on the qualifications and competencies of our next City Manager.”
Current City Manager Craig Curtis announced his retirement on March 28 of this year. His contract expires on March 3 of next year, the final day of the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer.
