OHS investigates after wagon flips and injures passengers at Edmonton park

EDMONTON – Occupational Health and Safety is investigating after a horse drawn wagon they were riding in overturned at Fort Edmonton Park.

Six people were taken to hospital.

Alberta Health Services says all six were ejected when the accident happened.

One person is listed in serious condition.

The other five are in stable condition.

Fort Edmonton Park remains open, but all animal-related activities have been suspended and the area where the accident occurred is taped off.

Park spokesman, Darren Dalgleish, says he’s not aware of anything similar happening at the park before.
