Final remand escapee arrested near Rocky Mountain House

The final of four detainees who escaped from the Red Deer Remand Centre earlier this month has been arrested.

Dallas Albert Rain, 28, was located and arrested by Rocky Mountain House RCMP at about 12:45 Friday afternoon.

Rain remains in police custody as the investigation continues pending his return to Red Deer.

Rain, Quinn Peterson and Brian Power broke out of the Red Deer Remand Centre through a window early on June 12.

One other escapee was arrested shortly after. Peterson and Power were captured following an incident near Innisfail that afternoon.
