UPDATE: Rocky Mountain House RCMP arrest Cruz Bigchild after lengthy search

UPDATE [MAY 28]

RCMP say they have located and arrested Cruz Bigchild on his outstanding arrest warrant.

21-year-old Cruz Bigchild from Sunchild First Nations is facing mutiple charges, including flight from police, possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose, and eight counts of fail to comply with recognizance.

Bigchild is in custody and is scheduled to appear in Rocky Mountain House Provincial Court on June 6, 2018.

RCMP say they have located and arrested Shaeden Muskeg. Cruz Bigchild is still being sought by the RCMP.

Rocky Mountain House RCMP are actively trying to locate two males who are wanted on arrest warrants, and are considered to be a danger to the public. 

Cruz Bigchild, 21, is wanted on a warrant for arrest for charges stemming out of Rocky Mountain House.

Shaeden Muskeg, 18, is wanted on an arrest warrant for charges stemming out of a break enter that occurred in Drayton Valley on April 15.

Both men are believed to be on either the Sunchild or O’Chiese First Nation and are believed to be actively evading the RCMP.
