Worker succumbs to injuries following workplace accident in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE – Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) will be conducting an investigation into a workplace fatality.

The incident happened around 4:30 Friday in the 100 block of Stonecrest Point West.

Lethbridge Emergency Services and OH&S were called to the scene where a large concrete wall had been blown down by the wind.  The wall landed on a worker who was transported to hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.

No name is being released and police will not issue any further information.
