Maskwacis RCMP arrest man involved in targeted shooting incident

The Maskwacis RCMP arrested a man in the area of Montana First Nations on Tuesday evening after he was involved in a shooting incident.

This came after police alerted the public to a heavy police presence in the area of Montana First Nations while they searched for the suspect.

Police say the shooting incident occurred at around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, and is believed to be targeted.

The Alberta RCMP Emergency Response Team and Wetaskiwin RCMP assisted in the search.
