Bethany Care Society staff in Didsbury to rally for fair wages and improved seniors care

Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) members are set to rally in Didsbury on Wednesday.

On Sept. 23 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., staff at Bethany Care Society in Didsbury will rally for fair wages and compassionate seniors’ care.

“Continuing care workers are fighting for better working conditions and better care conditions,” said AUPE President Sandra Azocar in a media release. “We’re increasing the pressure on continuing care operators to help us support Alberta’s seniors.”

AUPE added that this rally is one of many in a series of rallies organized at continuing care sites across the province.
