VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Goldeneyes have signed goalie prospect Katie DeSa, the PWHL team announced Tuesday.

The Goldeneyes selected the 22-year-old American netminder 37th overall in this year’s draft, one of the team’s five picks.

DeSa played her collegiate hockey at Penn State and set records for the most shutouts (25), best winning percentage (0.818) and best goals-against average (1.43) in program history.

The five-foot-eight goalie is a four-time conference tournament champion and helped her team secure its first-ever Frozen Four appearance in her senior season.
