Red Deer RCMP make multiple arrests in a series of linked investigations
Red Deer RCMP has made a series of five arrests following an investigation into possession of property obtained by crime.
Police say on April 17, 2026, the Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction began the investigation assisted by Red Deer RCMP General Duty, Sylvan Lake RCMP General Duty, Sylvan Lake RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS), Sundre RCMP, Rocky Mountain House RCMP GIS, Olds RCMP GIS, Red Deer RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS), Alberta RCMP Real Time Operation Center (RTOC), and Alberta RCMP Air Services.
“With the arrest of multiple offenders and the identification of various criminal offences, this investigation demonstrates how the Red Deer RCMP work closely with other police partners to target crime across multiple jurisdictions,” as stated in a media release. “By working together, we tackle crime together.”
The investigation led them to a residence in Caroline on April 22, but after seeing officers, the suspect driver began driving erratically. Police attempted to stop the vehicle but were unable to do so.
