Sorensen Station washrooms now open

The City of Red Deer announced a new public washroom is now open at the Sorensen Station Transit Terminal in downtown.

They are open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and a dedicated washroom attendant will be there during operating hours.

The City explained this is to ensure the space remains clean, safe, and welcoming.

The attendant will also provide basic assistance, the city says, when appropriate.
