Building permit values up in March

The City of Red Deer reports that building permit values totalled $5.5 million in March.

This marks a $1.6 million increase from the $4.9 million reported in March 2025.

However, year-to-date permit values of $19.8 million are lower compared to the $26.8 million at this time last year.

Notable permits as per the City of Red Deer include:

Building permit for interior renovations of existing structure at 7156 Parke Avenue, valued at $780,000
Building permit for interior renovations to convert the existing structure into a church at 6519 67 Street, valued at $300,000
Building permit for construction of a new, single-family detached dwelling with covered deck and finished basement at 31 Toye Street, valued at $271,000
Building permit for the construction of a new, single-family detached dwelling at 32 Eaton Crescent, valued at $265,000
Building permit for construction of a new, single-family detached dwelling with front attached garage, uncovered deck, unfinished basement with separate side entrance at 17 Tranter Street, valued at $244,000
