Two youths have been arrested, and charges are pending, following an incident in downtown Red Deer this past Tuesday.
RCMP and the City of Red Deer previously reported that sometime between 7:30 and 8 a.m. on March 24, on the north side of City Hall, a student from Central Middle School was threatened with a knife, and had their backpack stolen.
The original report said the incident occurred at Sorensen Station, but RCMP and Red Deer Transit have since said that is not true.
Photos of the suspects from a previous story have been removed as the accused are youths.
