Blustery Sunday hits much of Alberta

The wind got windy on Sunday across Alberta.
Things got blustery as a wind warning had been applied to many southern parts of the province. The warning advised of incoming wind that could reach 90 km/h.
In the Red Deer region, only one locale was listed in today’s ‘Weather Summaries’ by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC). That was Delburne, which hit 96 km/h on March 8.
Elsewhere, Two Hills reached 121 km/h, Waterton Park Gate hit 116, wind peaked at 112 in Blood Tribe and Edgerton, and Medicine Hat got to 107.
