Red Deer sets record high temperature for Jan. 14
Red Deer set a new record high temperature on Jan. 14.
On Wednesday, Red Deer got up to 9.8 degrees Celsius, beating the old record of 9.3 degrees set in 2008. Records in the area have been kept since 1904, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
This is the third time since November that Red Deer has set a record high.
A new record was set on Dec. 15, hitting 11.8, up from the previous record of 11.7, set in 1962.
