Red Deer area sets unofficial temperature record for November 13

The Red Deer area set a new temperature record for November 13 on Thursday.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the Red Deer area reached a daytime high of 16.8 degrees Celsius on Thursday, setting a new record for November 13 while beating the old record high of 15.0 degrees Celsius set in 1946.

Records in this area have been kept since 1904.
