National Day for Truth and Reconciliation at the MAG

The Urban Indigenous Voices Society and their community partners and allies, have announced the receipt of grant funding from the Community Foundation of Central Alberta in support of their Sept. 30, Community Gathering for ReconciliACTION’ event being held at the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery (MAG).

The Tuesday event runs 3-8 p.m., with everyone welcome to attend and visit the MAG (inside and outside in Heritage Square park) and take part in the following:

In the Park:

• Reflection Tipi guided by Elders and Knowledge Keepers
• Children’s Area with cultural activities, games and art making 3-6 p.m.
• Community BBQ 3-6 p.m.
